Since it’s formation 11 years ago EIS continues to expand the services it offers in the furniture (and most recently walls) installation field with a desire to perform better with a new innovative mindset, and with the goal to provide customers with the highest quality installations possible thus raising the industry bar in relation to the customer experience. Today we continue to lead by growing our staff team (office staff, lead hands, plus furniture and wall installers) the “EMPIRE Way”, by which communication is a fundamentally important key. At EIS we go above and beyond to keep clients well informed throughout the process with all projects, regardless of size, in an effort to minimize and/or eliminate any potentially adverse issues. EIS employees arrive on time, in uniform, and are readily available to answer questions. They will consult and/or assist with problem solving should the need arise, partnering to help you reach the best possible solution.

Owner / Operator

Scott Paras is the original EIS founder.  In the trade for the past 16 years, Scott has now moved into the managerial role for EIS. Scott bears responsibility for all of the day-to-day internal office related activities and operation of the company, from scheduling manpower and overseeing project management, to administration.

Bill Pearce

EIS Partner / Head of Furniture Projects

Bill Pearce joined EIS as a partner in 2007. Bill has been actively involved in office installations since 1995.  He relocated to Edmonton from Newfoundland in 1998. For the period from 2000 and until he became a partner at EIS, Bill served as Allwest Commercial Furnishings’ Head Project and Installations Manager.

Louis Nagy became a EIS partner in 2014.  Louis’ 14 years of experience as Teknion’s Wall Division Altos/Optos Project Field Manager, field trainer and installation specialist has transformed EIS into one of the leading architectural wall install groups in the Province of Alberta.

Natalie Smith

Natalie Smith

Safety Officer

Our Safety Officer has dual roles within the organization, first leading the safety program to ensure crew members are trained and aware of all applicable policies and procedures, and secondly as on-site installer.

Natalie attended business school at NAIT, during which time she also worked in construction on various jobs, gaining on-site and tool training in the field.  She received her Diploma in Office Records Administration from NAIT in 2007, and continued in the construction industry both on-site, & later in restoration insurance claims.

Natalie started working as an installer with Empire in summer 2013, and shortly thereafter began training for the role of Safety Officer, helping Empire obtain COR while she also pursued & obtained her NCSO designation.
